PRIDE IN CRAFT
S.B.'s goal is to reduce construction waste by preforming selective demo and reducing our contribution to the landfill by donating reusable material/ hardware/ appliances to local reclaim/ donation stores. We prioritized serving our client's needs with a team geared toward checking off punch list items each day. Keeping the of steps needed to complete the project in order. Designs that utilize the space to the upmost. One of the most important parts of a project is a realistic timeline and a contractor whose schedule accommodates your goal. Left side sauna, right side steam room, on polished concrete slab(exposed aggregate), T&G cedar on wall with Kohler flat black valves/trim.
12"x24" tile set vertically, steam generator concealed in beach with accessible hatch on sauna side. Quartzite slab w/ blacklight under lighting w/ light diffuser
Water proof back-lit blacklight behind crown molding, sauna high temp light. All wire in walls are high temp wire.

Tiling tub decks... my advice is to always rip them out and put a free standing tub/jet tub in its place. "make the space feel bigger and the ladies love it. Tub decks date the space, ask a designer. If you really want it we will do it ;)

Love the design, customer did a great job. As tight as it gets for the tub, we measured and had an 1/8 on either side. Vertical set tile, niche, White and gold.
Lippage control every time.
Had to be set right or it made one of the symbols from 1940's Germany. :(

Natural stone Carrera marble backsplash (close up, so you can see the grout and the clean caulk to countertop joint) This is an important spot to use grout matching/color caulk especially with new construction because the weight of the new countertops and the settling of the house will almost always cause cracking there. SB does it right for our clients

"The lobster was not my idea but a customer request" it was from his old shower and reminded him of his wife. Lobster or not this shower was a huge upgrade! Bench seat ADU height, i helped out w/ the design or it would have been purple and yellow.
Kohler valves and trim package, we set glass in house on this one, Bench seat ADU heigh, Hexagonal mosaic floor tile w/ a tile set drain. Always in pattern to show off our skills. clean grout caulk where the tile meets floor tile.

Pine T&G on walls and ceiling, replaced all windows in room and updated the craftsman home. Self leveling was used on floor to fix slope cause by settling of house. Also jacked up one side of the structure and added supports before doing the floor in the kitchen and sun room.
Natural wood with all natural finishes where used in this kitchen, we don't use anything you couldn't eat off of. The legs on this bench the customer really loved. Always try to bring nature into the space, when i can. Black board wall of the (left) so family can leave notes.

Gutted entire kitchen, there was damage flooring from a water leak(customer provided extra, to repair)moved electrical around, domo floor to ceilling wall and turned it into pony wall to open up space and bring light in. kitchen has multicolored blue handmade subway set tile, custom maple hood vent(early american miniwax stain),floating 2x6 shelving w/ underlit led lighting. induction top, Kohler farm sink, quartz countertop, custom cabinets w/ large double drawers(for silverware & larger items.
Custom built rolling island w/ hammered cast iron hardware/hangers, all new lighting fixtures, (primer coat and painted all in house), new double oven reclaim along with the induction top, kitchen has multicolored blue handmade subway set tile, maple hood vent(early american miniwax stain), floating 2x6 shelving w/ underlit led lighting. induction top, Kohler farm sink, quartz countertop, custom cabinets w/ large double drawers(for silverware & larger items.
No touch hood insert (turn on by waving your hand past it), handmade Italian multicolor blue subway tile w/ waterfall mosaic, custom maple hood vent(early american miniwax stain), floating 2x6 shelving w/ underlit led lighting. induction top, Kohler farm sink.

Fresh air is important when sitting in a sauna. 80% of build was made for reclaimed construction material that would have ended up at the local dump, then landfill. Reclaimed materials are; wood burning stove, stove vent pipe, cedar fence boards, all cedar from bench, cedar shelf, window, metal roof, concrete board around stove and pipe, tile that stove sits on.
